TPC at Piper Glen Country Club Wedding in Charlotte, NC

September 7, 2009:  Charlotte, NC – I traveled back to Charlotte in early September to photography Callista & Thadeus at The Players Club (TPC) at Piper Glen Country Club in South Charlotte, NC. Its something that I normally do not shoot, but its something I want to do.  My rates are very reasonable.  So, just message me if you are planning a wedding anywhere in the country.  :]]

Young Love in Black & White

I started shooting a few weddings as a second shooter last summer and put things on hold because I knew I was moving out of Charlotte even though I wasn’t quite sure where I was moving.   So, fast forward some months and I am now available for bookings in Chester County and Philadelphia, PA.  I don’t mind coming back to Charlotte either. :]

Sometimes when I’m shooting an NFL game, I feel like the images don’t truly matter to anyone.  I have gotten dozens of emails about my Barack Obama photos and how they stirred up their emotions. I know people would love to see the game as close as I do, but I think I like the idea of photographing weddings because I hope I can do my job in capturing their love and have my work mean something to someone.

Below are photos of my second time shooting a wedding.  At first I wasn’t too happy with the images, but Bobby and Hannah were such a wonderful couple.  I thought it would be a nice treat for them to see their images in black & white. All images were shot with a Canon 40D + 20-70L.  I currently shoot with different bodies now, but the 40D was a great camera when I was first starting out.  If you have any questions, please leave a comment or email me.
