December 27, 2008: Charlotte, NC - *sidebar* I still can’t believe there isn’t a single college football team in Charlotte! I came into the game pretty indifferent on who I wanted to win. I just wanted the game to be close and lots of scoring! Boy, did the first half make us photographers happy with the big money touchdown shots and Hakeem Nicks of UNC was dominate in the first half. West Virginia did end up pulling out the 1 point win and being down on the field after the game listening to all the Mountaineer fans singing “Country Roads” is something I’ll remember for a long time.
